Invisalign® What to Expect
Invisalign aligners are designed by your dentist using CAD/ CAM digital technology. Each set of aligners is crafted to gradually bring your teeth into alignment. Treatment plans, including the number of aligners and length of wear, are customized to provide you with your optimal results.
Dr. Kaplan will begin by taking digital impressions of your teeth and bite. The impressions are prepared and sent to an Invisalign lab where your aligners will be fabricated from state of the art plastic material.
When your aligners are complete, you will return to Dr. Kaplan’s office to review your treatment plan. Each set of aligners are typically worn for in 2-week increments. Each set of aligners is slightly different than the last allowing for movement in the teeth.
